Presentation went well. I made them laugh! I followed a presentation by some tech-geeks who didn't entirely speak English - just Tech. So I couldn't have had a kinder set up if I tried.

I cunningly put my contact details on the last page of the presentation, and mentioned that I do professional development seminars. They all wrote it down. At dinner one of them said they'd visited my website already and checked me out. They then discussed having me present at an Asian Symposium. *Blush* Tomorrow I gotta crack the Europeans - they were sitting too far away for me to handle it tonight.

The roaming isn't working too well - I get sms from Australia just fine, but not much else. Mobile Me website seems to be down which isn't helping. Yesterday I gave in and left a phone message for Hubbius. I spoke for less than one minute and it cost me $21.75 via the hotel. So no, actually, global roaming charges are modest and reasonable. I can get service, I just can't get the numbers to go through so I guess I am doing something wrong.

This internet access is costing me $10 per day. And that's in USD. grumble, grumble.
